Cunnilingus. Some describe eating a woman out as tasting kind of metallic. It's that combination of sweat and skin that combines to offer a taste that isn't particularly off-putting, but isn't exactly peaches and cream — as some might probably hope.
The vaginal verdict. Emily Torres from Salon was curious to find out what women's hoo-ha's tasted like, so she gathered up a verdict after asking a bunch of her friends. Some said that it tasted like sweet and lemony, while others told her that their lady parts tasted almost buttery, if not a bit salty.
Fishing for compliments. There is a common understanding that vaginas may have a slightly fishy odor and taste, and that is somewhat true.
Stereotype. This has also become something of a common stereotype, when in reality, it comes down more to what she's putting in her body and what kind of hygiene she's practicing.
The medical opinion. A woman's vagina may change on a given day, depending on what she's putting in her body and how she's treating it. Carol Queen is a sexologist who explains that a woman's hormones and body chemistry will affect how she tastes.
The vagina diet. If you're looking to enhance the taste of your vagina before he goes to town on it, consider changing what you put in your body. Robert Morgan Lawrence and Deb Levine, a sexologist and sex advice columnist, respectively, have voiced opinions. They say that garlic and onions will be no bueno, while pineapple is A+. Also, try to nix the dairy.
Technically speaking, in terms of semen... Semen has got quite a bit of fructose in it, which is what plays a role in sweetening the sperm. However, that's not to say that semen is necessarily sweet. Though it can be, depending on the particular man's diet, it tends to have a stronger, saltier taste.
The sweetness and saltiness of semen. There are various reasons why semen will taste different and — you guessed it! — it has to do with the fella's diet. According to Gizmodo, if he has too much sodium, expect saltiness; too much citric acid and it's going to have a sharp taste; an excess in zinc and the taste will be metallic; and if he's pumped up on amines, look forward to sipping on clothes detergent.
Semen is a clean machine. Nobody wants to chug a shot of chlorine or bleach. Nothing about those two liquids seems enticing in the slightest. However, according to some users on Reddit, that's exactly what they liken the flavor and smell of their man's goo to.
The nuts of bolts of man juice. Seeing as a man has a pair of nuts hanging beneath his wiener, it makes sense that his semen might have some nutty flavor notes — and indeed it does. Shiina Ringo is a Japanese singer who claims that semen kind of tastes and smells like chestnut flowers. So, not exactly a nut, but you get the idea.
The "Jizz Tree." You know you've smelled this tree before. Maybe you're not super familiar with the smell of semen to begin with, but if you wanted an idea of what it smells like (at least sometimes), it's a Callery Pear Tree. If you find yourself walking by one, you might assume that some dude just busted a nut nearby. Someone might have, but, really, it's just the tree.
Wild semen. Though some people are big fans of semen, some would just really prefer to keep it far away. One dude on Reddit tried his own semen a couple of times and compared the taste to "salt, mushrooms and chalk."
Viscious. He also wrote that his semen is quite "viscous," so he may really just need to change up his diet.
Lickin' dat booty. Though you might imagine a butt to taste like what comes out of it, that's actually not the case (assuming the receiver cleans up after themselves). Analingus has been known to taste metallic, as though you were rolling coins around in your mouth.
Butt stuff. One Reddit user seems like the ultimate fan of eating booty: "I've found it to be a little sweet and musky but in a good way. Try it, preferably on someone else who is willing, and open your mind to the wonderful world of a** play. You'll never wanna go back. Edit: Baby wipes are your friend."
