Though sex is pretty fun, there are a lot of risks that come with it. That’s why doctors always talk about having sex safely, and why there are a lot of public service announcements about diseases. That being said, there are certain sex acts that are way more dangerous and deadly than others. Drinking Urine Or Eating Feces. For some people out there, yes, this is a sex act. The problem with this should be obvious: disease. There’s a reason why humans are wired to have a disgust towards waste, and avoiding getting sick from it is the biggest reason out there. People who eat feces or drink urine are prone to infections like E. Coli.
Bug Catching. People who are “bug catchers” are people who like to be infected by sexually transmitted diseases. There have been multiple news reports that featured bug catchers who didn’t tell people that they were HIV positive until after they have given the victims a disease. Much like several other acts on this list, this one involves guaranteed injury - and potentially, death.
Sexual Blood Drinking. While it’s not exactly common, some people out there do have a thing for drinking human blood. Though there’s no penetration, there is always a risk of getting a blood borne infection like HIV. Moreover, the person who is giving blood may end up with cuts all over them - and yes, that’s an injury.
Rosebudding. Rosebudding is also known as anal prolapse, and by default, this sex act basically requires the person to injure themselves. When someone prolapses, the person’s rectum slips out of the anus. Doing this regularly can cause long term incontinence and permanent damage.
Vaginal Sex. Yep, the most common, old school way to enjoy your sexuality is actually one of the riskiest. Vigorous sex can cause penile breakage, heart attacks, and the spread of STDs. Though this is as vanilla as you can get, many people end up dying with their pants down every year. The most dangerous position? Girl on top.
Rape. Nonconsensual sex is always harmful, because you’re hurting someone by not letting them choose whether to have sex. In many cases, people who have been raped were beaten into submission or otherwise physically harmed as well. Needless to say, this is one of the sex acts out here which should never be performed.
Gerbiling. This sex act is known as shoving live animals up your rectum, and it’s not just a modern myth. There have been multiple people who have been hospitalized because of it. The problem with doing this is manifold: it can kill an animal, and the animal will typically instinctually attack your insides. Many people have died because of gerbils gnawing through intestinal tracts or through a colon.
Group Sex. Once again, this is something that is rather common compared to others on the list, but the fact is that it’s still risky. Along with the issue of penetrative intercourse risks comes a heightened chance of getting an STD. More partners means more risks.
Road Head. There are many people out there who enjoy giving oral sex while driving, and the thought of it is actually pretty steamy. The problem is that this can distract the driver or even knock the car out of gear…and that can result in a pretty bad accident.
Drug Use During Sex. Just like with any other form of drug use, having sex while on drugs can be a very bad idea. People who have done it have overdosed or had moments where they lost control of what they do. This has lead to injuries, permanent brain damage, and death.
Autoerotic Asphyxiation. This is also known as hanging yourself for sexual release. Many jokes surround this in Hollywood, but the fact is that it is a sex act that many people have taken part in. The problem is that this is one potentially lethal kink because there’s always a possibility that you won’t be able to untie the rope when you finally need to breathe.
BDSM. Though it’s usually safe, BDSM kinks that are done improperly can cause serious injury or even death. Even something as simple as flogging can be very risky with the wrong partner. It only takes one misfired whip hit before you get permanent kidney damage.
Beastiality. Having sex with an animal is never okay. In fact, it’s technically rape because they can’t consent. But, there are other risks that can happen. For example, there was one famous internet case in which a man died because he was penetrated by a horse. The horse was too large, and tore his anus, intestines, and more. Similarly, you can also have allergies to animal semen - as one woman found out. She died because of the reaction.
Anal Sex. Though it’s way tamer than many of the things on this list, many doctors advise against anal sex. The fact is that anal sex is more likely to transmit disease, more likely to cause tearing, and more likely to cause penile fracture when compared to regular P in V. Simply put, you may want to avoid very rough anal sex.
Analingus. Eating booty may be fun, but it’s actually the easiest way to get a disease. Along with the easier contagion of STI’s, eating booty also can put you at risk for a number of other sicknesses. Since feces may be around that area, you may end up getting E.Coli, C.Diff, or other similar bugs. Yuck!
