Lucie Bee is redefining the phrase “triple threat.” The adult film star is also an escort and activist with an affinity for comic books and science fiction. She’s made a name for herself amongst clients because of the fact that she provides a service not many sex workers offer — dressing up as comic book characters for clients who hire her, thus becoming every nerd’s dream girl. Her services don’t come cheap, however, and you might have to sell a prized comic book or two in order to get even at least an hour of her time. Read on to find out more about Lucie Bee and her unique profession.
Childhood. Growing up, Lucie Bee spent a lot of time reading comic books and playing video games. Like most kids, she was into superheroes and fan fiction. And her interests didn't wane as she grew older. In fact, she found a way to use those particular interests to her advantage. If only we could monetize our hobbies in the same way...
Career. But as she got older and started exploring her sexuality more and more, she started becoming aware of how her love of comic books influenced her sex life. Eventually, this realization led her to pursue a career as a sex worker, but with a geeky twist to it. She services an incredibly niche market of clients, which is smart, as it means she doesn't have a hell of a lot of competition.

In character. "I have Cosplay costumes, and sometimes people want to see me as a character because [they] find that sexy,” said Lucie, as reported by the Daily Mail UK. Because of her unique look and the services she provides, Lucie has managed to gain a huge fan base.

Conventions. Lucie attends various cosplay conventions where she dresses up as different characters and gets to meet her fans. Thanks to these meet and greets, she’s managed to gain even more clients.
Meeting. "People have the chance at cons to see me in 3D and say hello. They can see I don't bite—unless requested. I wouldn’t say that my market isn’t solely geeks but I see more people who share my interests than ever before since becoming more open about them,” said Lucie, as reported by the Daily Mail UK.

Films. "I’m going to be spending a time at the Velvet Reality booth for VR [adult films]. I've done a solo film with them recently where I'm dressed up as Catwoman, touching myself and talking to the camera as if they were Bruce Wayne. It’s really cool, like who doesn’t want to feel like they’re Batman?” Lucie told the Daily Mail UK.

Clients. Lucie says she’s come across clients who want her to dress up in a variety of costumes, but her favorite character to take on is Catwoman, because of the whip that the costume comes with. Lucie says she also helps beginner clients explore their sexuality in ways they never thought they could before.
Geeks. However, she is quick to point out that her clientele isn’t strictly geeks and nerds. “I wouldn’t say that my market isn’t solely nerds but I see more people who share my interests than ever before since becoming more open about them,” she tells the Daily Mail UK.

Career. Throughout the start of her career however, Lucie explains how there wasn’t really a market for cosplayers and not many people were out seeking a “geek” to have sex with. But once people began seeing her work and through word of mouth, Lucie began to gain more and more popularity.

Turn off. "I didn’t want to be a woman with an opinion at the start because I thought it would turn people off. Because you don’t get a lot of kudos growing up as the geeky girl you get this idea that being geeky isn’t what people want,” said Lucie, as reported by the Daily Mail UK.
Confidence. But now, Lucie says she’s learned to embrace her geekiness and through the help of her clients and by attending conventions, she’s become more outspoken about her interests. Who would’ve thought a book nerd would have turned out to be so sexually appealing?
Judgements. And while Lucie says she’s happy with her career and her life, she does admit that at times, things can get hard due to some of the negative comments she gets on social media form people judging her for her lifestyle. But the reality is she's being true to herself and helping people to normalize their sexual interests, and she's not hurting anyone! What's so wrong with that?

Negativity. "Sometimes it’s really hard and people are really mean. I try to never read the comments, but if I took a shot for every time someone asked how my father must be proud, I'd be drunk all the time,” Lucie told the Daily Mail UK.
Support. But Lucie doesn’t seem to pay much attention to the naysayers, and says that in fact, her mother is extremely proud of her and one of her main supporters. For her, following her dreams was worth it.
