According to Amazon.com, the new netbook includes a six-cell “Super Hybrid Engine” battery pack and,Hp laptop battery depending how it is used, it is possible to adjust the computer for better performance and efficient energy consumption. Some reports said the netbook has an Intel N280 processor that draws about 2.5 power watts, although Intel has not given enough details about the new processor.
According to Richard Shim, research manager for IDC’s Personal Computing program, netbook batteries that are now available in the market can last up to 4 hours, depending on the screen and wireless capabilities. It also includes high speed connectivity anywhere with Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth, Windows XP as preinstalled operating system and exclusive 10GB Eee storage with easy accessibility anywhere online. Although the netbook is priced at $399 on Asus’ website, Amazon offers it for $374.
